At Comtek, we believe that sustainability and digital inclusion go hand in hand. Extending the life of technology not only reduces e-waste and carbon emissions, it also helps people get online, learn, and build the digital skills they need for the future.
That’s why we’re donating a total of 20 Lenovo T420 laptops to community groups, schools, and NHS organisations across Flintshire. While these laptops are no longer needed in our business, they can still make a real difference for learning, connection, and community use. Each device will be refreshed with ChromeOS Flex, providing a simple, secure, and reliable way to get connected.
We want these laptops to have the greatest possible impact, so we are inviting local organisations in Flintshire to apply before 30th September 2025. Please note, there are 20 laptops in total, which will be shared across successful applicants.
This initiative reflects our commitment to:

Across the UK, too many families, schools, and community groups still lack access to reliable devices. By donating these laptops locally, we hope to play a small part in closing that gap here in Flintshire.
How to Apply
To apply, please email community@comtekgroup.kinsta.cloud with the following details:
- Name of your organisation (community group, school, or NHS group)
- Contact details (name, email, phone)
- A short description of how the laptops will be used
- The number of laptops you are applying for (up to a maximum of 5)
From supporting after-school clubs to helping patients stay connected, these laptops could open doors to opportunity and inclusion. We are proud to support our local area in this way and hope these devices will help create lasting impact.
Terms & Conditions
- We welcome applications from community groups, schools, NHS organisations, and not-for-profits based in Flintshire.
- A total of 20 Lenovo T420 laptops are available and will be distributed across successful applicants.
- Each group may apply for up to 5 laptops. The final allocation will be at Comtek’s discretion.
- Devices will be provided free of charge as Lenovo T420 laptops, supplied with ChromeOS Flex installed.
- Laptops are offered as-is with no warranty, ongoing support, or responsibility for maintenance.
- Applications must be submitted by 30th September 2025.
- Successful applicants may be contacted for publicity purposes and featured in Comtek’s PR and community engagement activities.
